I recently came across this story (thank you Mandy for pointing me to it), The Story Of Lady Shalimar, A Self-Taught Artist Who Started Drawing At 70. I love this story not only because it's a beautiful reminder that you can start drawing, dancing, loving, anything you want at any age, but also because it walks the line between reality and fantasy, between her fears and her dreams, and because her drawings are just plain wonderful.
