About my work

About me
I have developed a unique blend of skills from working in the art world, higher education, and in corporate settings. I began my teaching career at the University of Utah, teaching Italian language and culture classes. After moving to Seattle, I worked in communication and marketing in the architecture field, and thirteen years ago I became a full-time teaching artist at several local art schools and colleges. I have taught watercolor painting, classical drawing, and sketch booking for over a decade in addition to courses on creativity and the business side of being an artist. Six years ago I realized a life long dream and opened my own online art school, Cloud 9 (www.cloud9artschool.com).
