Shopping for art supplies and books is one of the best things about being an artist but it can also be overwhelming if you haven't figured out your favorites yet. Below is a list of sketching supplies that I love to travel with. You can click on any item listed to go to a link on Amazon.com.
Most projects in Rhonda Gardner’s workshops can be completed in the Strathmore pad described above. However, students may want to complete some projects on higher qualify paper. The Instructor will have a supply of high qualify colored pencil paper (Stonehenge) that students may purchase in class for specific projects.
I am recommending Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils. Please do not bring student grade pencils (or you will be disappointed with your results). I have listed here the name and number of the individual pencils recommended for the beginners workshop. I suggest buying these in person at local art stores that sell the pencils individually. Or if you want to buy the entire set of 150 Prismacolor Premier Soft Core Colored Pencils you can find it here.
These are the pencils recommended for Rhonda’s October workshop.
When you click the link for a product, you get the same low price you normally would pay on Amazon and Amazon pays me a small percentage for recommending the product.
