We will learn how to simplify and paint flowers in a loose watercolor style.
The invitation link to join the class on Zoom will be sent to you around 12:45pm on the day of our class, 15 minutes before class starts. Have your supplies set up and we will jump right in.
We will paint the following flowers:
Pansy
Tulip
Sunflower
Peony
Poppy
Daisy
Zinnia
Allium
Rose
Geranium
Anemone
Black-Eyed Susan
Hydrangea
Clematis
Violet
Hollyhock

Dahlia
Below is the list of supplies I used for this painting. Feel free to use your own favorite supplies if you prefer.
Arches Cold Press Watercolor Paper 300 lbs (22 x 15 in./56 x 38 cm.)*
Pencil (2H or lighter is best) and kneaded eraser
Ruler
Micron Pen, 08, Black Ink
Watercolor brushes
Black Gold 311, Round, Size 000
Micro Mini Shader Size 2
Daniel Smith Watercolor Paints
Water, water container, paper towels
*You could paint the 18 flower types of this workshop on a larger sheet of paper like I did or paint them in your sketchbook or they could be painted on 18 smaller pieces of watercolor paper (post card size or larger) - one sheet per flower. You decide!
