Workshops

I offer watercolor, drawing, and sketchbook classes for adults, children and teens in addition to monthly sketchbook field trips and wine & watercolor parties throughout the Seattle area. I also offer international workshops and tours as well. Some focused on sketching, others focused on art history, food, wine, wellness and the good life. Come join me!

Lessons are designed to help students gain confidence and experience with developing watercolor and drawing skills and encourage a sketchbook habit. Lessons are tailored to the age, skill level, and goals of each student.

I believe that through art and play adults and children alike are able to understand their world and to establish connections to different areas in their life. Through art we are better able to understand and appreciate the world around us. I am passionate about my own work as an artist and I bring that enthusiasm to my teaching.

January 30 Sketchbook Field Trip

The January sketchbook field trip is Thursday, January 30 from 11am - 1pm.

We will sketch at Kenmore Lanes in Kenmore, Washington.

This old school bowling alley has lots of sketching possibilities, free entrance, and ample parking. We can sketch the bowling alley, bowling paraphernalia, the arcade games, the restaurant and lounge, food and people. So much old school fun! You can order lunch and sketch that and if you get inspired, you can bowl too!

Participants are welcome to wander off and find their own favorite spot to sketch. For the last 15 minutes of our field trip, we will gather around and have a show and tell.

Learn how to get in the habit of sketching your world. All skill levels welcome.

Parking is free.
