I recently finished my latest sketchbook diary. I love keeping a sketchbook as a way of documenting my life and connecting more mindfully with my world. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into this sketchbook.

Travel Sketchbook 2019 Volume 2

This past summer Dave and I traveled to Italy: Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre and home to Verona and Lake Garda.

For the Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre portion of the trip I was joined by a great group of students. We sketched, explored, dined and walked our way through some of the most beautiful parts of Italy. And it inspired me on every level.

Here then, are my sketches from this trip. I do hope you enjoy.

Travel Sketchbook 2018 Volume 2

This summer I had the trip of a lifetime, to Sardegna and then Verona. In Sardegna we spent five days on a sailboat, discovering the archipelago between Sardegna and Corsica. After sailing, we explored the interior of Sardegna, staying at an amazing hotel, Parco degli Ulivi.

There is something exhilirating and soul satisfying about seeing a place for the first time. New things to see and feel, smell and taste. New music, new people. This trip had all of that. And it inspired me on every level.

The idea of a scribbler is a smaller sketchbook for quick line drawings, sketches, scribbles. I loved filling this with quick continuous line sketches of people.
