Workshops

I offer watercolor, drawing, and sketchbook classes for adults, children and teens in addition to monthly sketchbook field trips and wine & watercolor parties throughout the Seattle area. I also offer international workshops and tours as well. Some focused on sketching, others focused on art history, food, wine, wellness and the good life. Come join me!

Lessons are designed to help students gain confidence and experience with developing watercolor and drawing skills and encourage a sketchbook habit. Lessons are tailored to the age, skill level, and goals of each student.

I believe that through art and play adults and children alike are able to understand their world and to establish connections to different areas in their life. Through art we are better able to understand and appreciate the world around us. I am passionate about my own work as an artist and I bring that enthusiasm to my teaching.

You can register for classes month to month. You can join at any time and stop and start up again as your schedule allows.

During these afternoon sessions students may choose to bring in their own art projects to work on with Charlene providing guidance and mentorship during the process.

In addition to working on personal projects,Charlene will provide watercolor, drawing and sketchbook demonstrations and in class assignments to encourage and instruct students on how to explore materials, techniques, various subjects and develop a creative habit.
