Sketchbook Workshop: Understanding Light

In this sketching class we will learn about portraying light in our artwork and sketches. Classes will be held on Zoom on Tuesdays, July 16 - August 27, 10am - 12pm (Pacific Time).

Students will receive an email with a link to join me on Zoom about 10 minutes before each class. Classes are recorded and the recordings will be available for up to one month after the workshop ends.

Designed to inspire students to sketch their world, this course will use the book The Urban Sketching Handbook Understanding Light by Katie Woodward. I will work in graphite pencil, ink and watercolor but I encourage students to use in whichever medium they prefer since this workshop is not focused on techniques for particular media but rather is focused on understanding light in our sketches.

For adults & teens. All levels welcome.
